1. Program Overview

Purdue Federal Credit Union (“Purdue Federal”) offers an SMS-based program titled “Purdue Federal Member Surveys.” This program is used solely to collect feedback from existing members regarding their interactions and experiences with Purdue Federal services. This program is classified as customer care / informational messaging and does not include marketing, advertising, or promotional content.

2. Information Collected

As part of this SMS program, Purdue Federal (and its service provider, Support EXP) may collect:
  • Mobile phone number
  • Survey responses and feedback
  • Interaction-related information (e.g., service experience details)
This information is used exclusively to evaluate and improve member experience.

3. Use of Information

Information collected through this program is used solely for:
  • Customer satisfaction measurement
  • Service quality improvement
  • Internal reporting and analytics
It is not used for marketing, advertising, or promotional purposes.

4. Third-Party Data Sharing

Support EXP acts as a service provider (data processor) on behalf of Purdue Federal and facilitates the delivery of SMS surveys. No mobile phone numbers or personally identifiable information (PII) collected through this SMS program will be shared, sold, or disclosed to third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Data may only be shared with vendors strictly for the purpose of operating the survey program and only under contractual obligations to protect the data.

5. Marketing Statement Clarification

While Purdue Federal’s general privacy notice may reference data sharing for its own marketing purposes, this does not apply to the Purdue Federal Member Surveys SMS program. This SMS program:
  • Does not send marketing messages
  • Does not use collected data for marketing
  • Does not share participant data with third parties for marketing

6. User Consent and Opt-Out

Members opt in to receive survey messages through Purdue Federal’s consent mechanisms. Users may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. For assistance, users may reply HELP.

7. Data Security and Retention

Purdue Federal and its service providers implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. Data is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined above or as required by law.
