Support Global Outreach (GO)

Support GO is Support EXP’s giveback program, through which employees contribute in their daily roles to transform lives and communities throughout the world. Below are just some of the areas where Support GO is making a difference.

Sending Relief to Hurricane-Impacted Community

The Support EXP Team has been hard at work, gathering and loading essential supplies for a dedicated group heading to Fletcher, NC. This mission will provide hot meals and much-needed support to residents and relief workers affected by the devastating impact of Hurricane Helene.

This effort is a tangible demonstration of our commitment to making a difference through our Support Global Outreach initiative. We believe in putting “skin in the game,” actively stepping up to serve and uplift communities in need. Changing lives through action is at the heart of what we do, and we are proud to put such great meaning into what we do every day.

Passion Center Leaders Speak Hope

Leaders from Passion Center for Children in Malawi, a small country in southeastern Africa, visited Support EXP headquarters recently to share stories of their grassroots, faith-driven efforts to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children and their communities. Passion Center is sustained by a dynamic partnership of individuals, churches, and organizations like Support EXP.

Turning Years of Service Into Gifts of Compassion

For this give-back initiative, Support GO is acting through Compassion International, a child sponsorship and humanitarian aid organization advancing the long-term development of children living in poverty, globally. For each Support EXP employee, a predefined donation amount was allocated for every year of company service. Teams added up their amounts and selected specific gifts from Compassion International’s online catalog to give to children and communities in need.

Self-Sustainment in Malawi

Support GO is proud to support the Malawi Talent Fund with a focus on the heart of the organization – Namikango Farm. Namikango Farm is a self-sustaining project in Zomba, Malawi that gives the community both economic sustainment and an abundant, self-supporting food source. Through this project and others, the Malawi Talent fund has provided local Malawians with hundreds of jobs and training, personal development and capital that are creating even more startup businesses around Zomba. An inspiring community transformation sparked by the sacrifice, faith, and perseverance of a former IT exec, founder Chris Weaver.

Outreach through Women's Prisons

Since 2014, Support GO and CEO Rhonda Sheets have delivered the message of hope and transformation through Women’s Prisons at Hernando CorrectionalGadsen Correctional, and Lowell Correctional. Through yearly trips to these facilities, Rhonda and other Support employees have forged lasting relationships and connections with these women and exchange ongoing communication and support.

"Reading the incredible comments from Hernando Correctional inmates clearly reveals the power of transformation unleashed through your program. WOW!"

– Dr. Myron A. Harvey, CEO of Human Capital Consulting

Fighting Poverty in Namibia

Benaya and Aloysia Niyukuri lead the Paraclete Counseling Mission (PCM), working in the trenches of poverty and broken communities every day. PCM’s mission is to improve the living conditions of children, people living with HIV and AIDS, and those dependent on alcohol and drugs. Support GO has been sponsoring Benaya’s development since he arrived in Namibia as a refugee. Aloysia, a refugee from Rwanda, attended an International African Women’s Conference speech delivered by Rhonda Sheets, in 2009. Rhonda journeys to Africa annually to connect with and encourage their life-changing work.

Going the Extra Mile

Through the leadership of Joe Mattera, with our client Honda Federal Credit Union, we are privileged to be the primary sponsor of the annual Run with Passion 5K.The proceeds of this race go directly to Passion Center for Children and has raised over $70,000 for orphaned children in Malawi, Africa since it began in 2012! We are thrilled to have some of our own Support EXP employees participate in this annual community event and to be part of the Passion Center’s mission to provide food, clothing, medical aid, education, and grace-filled care for hundreds of Malawian orphans every day.

Building Communities in France

Through Vision-France, volunteers are working together to give a home to refugees and others in need. Strasbourg, France is a multi-cultural hub with people coming in from over 63 countries and over 3,000 refugees seeking asylum every year. Support GO is proud to sponsor Vision-France as they build a bridge to these families by creating a Community Center in the heart of the city. The Center gives stability and hope in the form of jobs, language classes, trauma counseling and community culture celebrations.

Sponsorship in Uganda

As a candidate for Compassion International’s Leadership Development program, Support GO immediately connected with Rogers Ssekamatte around his need for educational sponsorship. His servant leadership history and development as a leader in his community in Uganda made him a perfect fit for Support GO to help make a difference in local communities worldwide. He successfully completed his degree and with Support GO at his side, Rogers is now carrying out the vision of an agricultural project in Uganda. He is also now employed in the banking community.

Providing Food with Target Dayton

On the 4th Saturday of every month, Support GO teams up with Target Dayton, to provide food to the homeless and poor in the inner city of Dayton, Ohio. Along with feeding those in need, this program allows us to sit down with these individuals and hear their stories in order to build authentic connections. Support EXP helped Target Dayton create gift boxes for over a thousand people this past Christmas.

Connecting through Children's Miracle Network

Support EXP was thrilled to be a direct contributor to the recent Credit Union Night at FC Cincinnati’s soccer match. A portion of each ticket purchased for this event went to Children’s Miracle Network, helping improve the lives of children in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. These proceeds funded the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital initiative to purchase life-saving equipment and transform the delivery of child care.
